This is a charity bike riding event benefiting The Children’s Volunteer Health Network (CVHN). CVHN facilitates the delivery of comprehensive, direct medical, dental and mental health services to schoolchildren whose family income falls below certain measures throughout Walton and Okaloosa Counties and surrounding communities. 

The Entry Fee must be paid to participate in the Witch Ride that includes access to the Gathering Brunch after the ride. Proceeds are donated to CVHN.
BY ENTERING THIS RIDE YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: 
Be Respectful:
Only “family friendly” costumes will be permissible to participate in the event. Any costume or bicycle decorations considered too sexy or too scary for children will be asked to change or leave. 
Represent:
Be a good representative for CVHN and the Witches of South Walton. 
Be Responsible:
Safety is imperative to the success of the event. Please no alcohol before or during the bike ride. There will be plenty of time for libations after the bike ride. 
Remember:
This is not a race!
Witches will be given wristbands at registration and MUST be worn during the event. You will be asked to leave and WILL NOT be allowed to participate if you are not wearing the wristband. 
  • YOU MUST wear your official wristband on the day of the event to participate. 
  • NEVER ride more than two abreast on the bike path. Do not attempt passing. Please stop to help distressed witches, let’s ensure everyone makes it safely to our destination.
  • Make sure your costumes / decorations will not get caught in bike spokes, pedals, etc. 
Restrictions:
  • ​Please remain in single file order when we stop to wave at the children and other commuters. You must remain between the designated markers. 
  • Flying Monkeys will be present to help organize, enforce rules and to answer questions. DO NOT QUARREL WITH THE MONKEYS. 
  • Do not approach moving or parked vehicles. 
  • NO handing out candy to vehicles in the road! 
  • If you are Riding or Acting outside of the official Witch Ride events, you will be asked to leave. 
  • All Walton County riders MUST follow county & state regulations that pertain to riding bicycles on the multi-use path in Walton County know as the Timpoochee Trail.
  • All Okaloosa County Riders MUST follow county & state regulations that pertain to riding bicycles on the county & state roadways in Bluewater Bay & Niceville. 
Registration fee is non-refundable; I understand this is a donation to CVHN
Liability Waiver:
I understand that the Witches of South Walton bike ride (the “Event”) is an athletic event that should only be engaged in by persons who are physically fit and in good health, as determined by a physician. I also understand that my participation entails some risks, including but not limited to injury or death, caused by my actions as well as the acts or omissions of fellow participants.

In consideration of your accepting this entry and allowing me to participate in this Event, I, the undersigned, intending to be legally bound hereby, for myself, my representatives, heirs, executors, and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against  Witches of South Walton, The Children’s Volunteer Health Network, and Gulf Place Community, its  organizers, its officers, directors, volunteers, agents, successors, and assigns, and any and all sponsors, and their representatives, successors, and assigns, from death or any and all injuries or damages suffered by me in said Event.

I attest and verify that I will participate in this Event as an entrant, that I am physically fit for this Event, and accept all risks associated with my participation. Further, I hereby grant full permission to Witches of South Walton and the organizers to use without compensation any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, or any other recordings or other record of this Event containing my image for any purpose whatsoever.
